American Industry Classification System -

NAICS was developed jointly by the U.S., Canada, and
Mexico to provide new comparability in statistics about business
activity across North America. The database is searchable by
keyword or code number. You can also use it to find the NAICS code
for the old SIC code.

Industrial Classification System -

Even though it's been replaced by the NAICS, the old
SIC codes are still used in older data sets. Use this site to find
those data sets or look up old SIC numbers.
