Calhoun faculty, staff, and students will be required to obtain picture I.D. cards. The schedule and location for getting a College ID made varies by campus. To get the latest information, check the schedule maintained by Student Services.  This I.D. card will also serve as the faculty/staff and student library card. Brewer Library and Huntsville Campus Library checkout will only be permitted with the presentation of a Calhoun picture I.D. card, driver's license, or previous Calhoun library card. Proof of current enrollment must accompany all of these forms of identification on your first visit to the Brewer Library or Huntsville Campus Library each semester.

Note: New, Gift and Leased items cannot be renewed.  Additionally, books may only be renewed one time online via "My Account."

Huntsville Campus Library and Journal Articles

The Huntsville Campus Library (Huntsville Campus Library) on the Huntsville Research Park Campus is primarily an electronic resource center and is not meant to duplicate the holdings of the Brewer Library, Decatur Campus.

First, check to see if the title is held electronically in one of the online, full-text electronic databases.   Between the magazines, journals, and newspapers available online, there are thousands of journals and newspapers available electronically in full-text at the Huntsville Campus Library.

A paper list of the Brewer Library magazine and journal holdings, along with indexes and bibliographies such as Short Story Explication have been placed in the collection at the Huntsville Campus Library.  You may locate citations in the index and verify if a particular title is held at the Brewer Library before making a special trip to the Decatur Campus. To determine literary titles held at Brewer Library, search the List of Literary Titles.
